Why do I have Paid Search/PPC data on my Paid Search Dashboard, but not my Master Dashboard?

Within BringShare, your Paid Search data on the Master Dashboard is powered by Google in order to remain consistent with the data you see from your other digital marketing channels. Your Paid Search Dashboard however, is powered by Google AdWords. This is how BringShare is able to supply you with the most powerful, robust set of paid search out there.

If you are missing data on your BringShare Master Dashboard, you're missing data from Google . The most likely cause of missing all AdWords data from Google is that your clicks from AdWords are not "tagged" by Google AdWords. Without tagging your links, Google cannot understand where website traffic is coming from (in this case, Google cannot identify that traffic is coming from Paid Search campaigns).

Google AdWords typically automatically tags your campaigns, but it is possible that auto-tagging could be disabled in your account. Follow the steps below to turn AdWords Auto-tagging back on in order to see Google AdWords/Paid Search data in Google for the future.

     1. Log in to your Google AdWords account. (If you are logging in via a"My Client Center" (MCC) account, pick the client from the dropdown).
     2. Under "My Account" in the upper navigation, click "Preferences"

     3. In your preferences, under "Tracking", enable "auto-tagging" (pictured below)

Once "Auto-tagging" is enabled, your Google AdWords data will then populate within Google and show on b oth your BringShare Master Dashboard, as well as BringShare Paid Search Dashboard.
